I've seen a lot of websites offering paid traffic which claims to be "Adsense safe".
This makes me wonder, is there paid traffic which isn't Adsense safe? If Google discovered you were buying traffic, would you get deranked or blacklisted?

I'm probably never going to buy traffic because it'll never convert, but maybe there's a reason people do?

I think that if you buy traffic and it keeps clicking links from the same IP location, they will give you a warning and if it happens again, you will be kicked off of Adsense. I had it happen to me a few years ago. I was just testing my blog and accidentally clicked a few links too many times and they told me my account was terminated. I had to make a new one under my husband's name.

Like Lizzy mentioned, it is very risky to go with paid traffic if you have Adsense running on your site. If you do use paid traffic, just disable ads while it is running to be on the safe side.
