There are many ways in which it is going to be the most important design aspect in the coming few years. From startups to huge multinational companies, the mobile-friendly design is what everybody needs, and an experienced web design agency is the answer for all the prayers of these companies.

It depends on what you want to achieve with your website.

Let's put it this way: A website designed for mobile-friendly is a responsive website.

If you're to improve organic search ranking for your website on Google, then a website designed for mobile-friendly is a must these days. The reason is:

"Google has this "Mobile-first Index" which ranks web pages based on a website's mobile version, not the normal desktop version."

The second reason is simple. In some industries or some businesses, there are already more people searching on Google and visiting websites from their mobile devices. This one alone is a really good reason to make your website "responsive".

    In brief, you need to:

    1. Make sure your website load fast on mobile devices. Remember, people on a mobile phone usually may be less patient to wait for a slow loading website (comparing to when they're using a desktop computer).

    2. Your website's page layout must load correctly on mobile devices' browsers. Some websites these days (in 2019) still don't adapt to responsive design. i.e. Their websites were designed and developed back in many years ago where the text are too small to be seen on smaller screens, and the web pages are too large for the smaller screens.

With everything available at a ‘Hey Siri’ or ‘OK Google’, smartphones are our go-to companion for almost everything these days. And with the internet’s speedy takeover, it would be a shame not to have a mobile-friendly website. Without an optimized website, you are missing out a major chunk of your audience and their most attentive time spans.

    Advantages of Mobile-Friendly Website -

    1. Faster Download Speed - Mobile websites are specifically designed for mobile standards and optimal download speed, which means less waiting and more browsing.

    2. Better Engagement - A mobile website helps a user to engage better with the product with various CTAs.

    3. Brand Awareness - Having a mobile-friendly website will undoubtedly help increase your customer reach and brand name in the global market.

    4. Cost effective - Rather than having a website and a mobile application, creating a single website and making it mobile-friendly will definitely help you save a considerable amount of money.

    5. Easy Accessibility - As mentioned earlier, the number of mobile users is on the rise. This means chances of accessing your website on the phone is higher than that on a computer. But, if you do not create a mobile-friendly website, you will lose out on your users. Moreover, everyone is busy these days, so offering a quick peek through the mobile phones without compromising on the experience enables brands to leave a lasting impact. Thus, a mobile-friendly website is a necessity.

    6. Integrating Social Media - Even the biggest of brands are paying more attention to social media. And since Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, to name a few, are easily accessible through the phone. External links are more likely to be accessed over a phone. In addition, it affects your social media reputation as well. Imagine reading a negative review for not having a responsive website. Disappointing, isn’t it? These are major motivators for any brand to make a mobile-friendly website.

    7. Higher ranking on SERPs - Debates have started on the credibility of SEO with the advent of Social Media, but Google still remains undefeated. SEO is as important as ever. A mobile-friendly and responsive website increases your SEO ranking. Your online reputation affects your ranking. What’s more important is the algorithm specifically designed by Google for mobile devices. This enables a better analysis of your product and thus your SEO ranking.

    8. User Experience - Gone are the days when computers were the only means of accessing a website. With the integration of the devices and easy accessibility, brands create a mobile-friendly website to offer unhindered User Experience irrespective of the device being used to access it. Presence on each platform contributes towards a brand’s reputation. This is another reason to offer the ultimate UI and branding to your business.

Having a mobile-friendly website will enable you to tap into a whole new market of users. By providing a simple to use and easy to navigate interface, you are making your website mobile friendly and boosting the traffic to your website.
