Bounce Rate or Exit Rate, Which is more important?

In terms of importance when it comes to Google Analytics, which would you say is more important than the other - Bounce rates or exit rates? I tend to get them both confused myself as they seem to be very similar if not identical in some cases.

 

Both are important but I think it depends on your site. Bounce rates on shops for example, if those are high it is bad but if the exit rate is high, it can mean people are just returning customers who check out in a matter of a few clicks.
